Lavender and Silk

This light and airy pair is perfect for the budding warmth this season brings. This wedding, shot by Nancy Ray Photography used softer tones to create a beautiful impact! We love the long ribbons floating from the bouquets!

Dusty Neutrals

This stunning wedding, shot by Graham Terhune Photography took place at a camp where the couple met back in their teenage years. Between the antique accents and the untamed florals, we couldn’t resist using their big day as a mood board. Combining Queen Ann’s lace with thistle, scabiosa pods, and other greens they sweetly turned foraged wildflowers into elegant arrangements.

Peaches and Peonies

Bright pink peonies and peachy accents blended beautifully for this styled shoot, photographed by Tec Petaja. The sweetness of spring carries back bright colors and the vibrance of life after long chilly winters. To add pops of color to your wedding consider bolder tones like pinks and oranges to bring warmth to your day!

Wispy Whites

Classic whites lightly kissed pink are sure to bring wedding envy to any bride. This sweet color combination echoes romance, especially when paired with a breathtaking venue. Most brides pin lush centerpieces, giant earthy bouquets, and intricate arches to their dream wedding boards on Pinterest, but are not quite sure what price tag follows along with their visions.

Trying to budget for flowers can be a bit tricky seeing as a few different factors mesh together to come up with a total.

Typically, type of flower (peonies vs. tulips), amount of flowers used, and the size of the arrangements are all calculated out to come up with prices.

Recently, Green Wedding Shoes blogged about pricing, showing three different sized centerpieces for three different price ranges. Cavin Elizabeth Photography captured the shoot designed by Taya of Compass Florals.

These organic blooms are beloved by many brides recently, giving a great guideline for anyone planning their big day!

As you can see, the first arrangement is sweet and simple, and the cheapest of the three totally $100-$150. The middle one of $175-$225 has a fuller look as well as more expensive blooms. The last example is priced at $250 and up, the reason for this is the addition of peonies and ranunculus among others.

Though these might not be your dream arrangements, their size and type of flowers are a great guideline to refer to while planning!

While some florists offer packages, we believe each couple is so unique that every wedding we design is custom. We meet with you to narrow down your flower needs then price everything out, letting you walk away with a quote in hand.

Based off of our past weddings we find that (typically) most weddings quotes come out to about $3500.00. Now, this could mean a smaller wedding spent more to have bigger arrangements with high-end flowers, or that a bigger wedding had simpler flowers.

It has become a standard baseline for couples to spend 20% of their total budget on flowers, meaning a $20,000 wedding could plan to use $4,000 on flowers, though these calculations don’t match up for everyone.

With every couple needing different pieces, and having different styles, wedding flower prices can really vary, but if you plan ahead mapping out what you need (and can afford to spend) and go into your floral consultation knowing your budget, you will create such an enjoyable part of your wedding planning!
